Hello everyone!
I love all of the Christmas gift sets and palettes that beauty brands come out with at this time of the year, as you might have guessed from a couple of my previous posts. So, when I saw preview pictures of this one, I just knew straight away that I HAD to have it, without a doubt. Let's just say, it was love at first sight. As soon as this palette was released and available to buy on the internet, I was wasting no time and ordered it straight away. I actually got it when there was a 10% off on a certain website, which was obviously a bonus. So, after all that, I suppose that I'd better tell you what it is. It's the Urban Decay Naked on the Run Palette and as you will see from the pictures, it is just beautiful and so practical. You can virtually do a full face of make-up with this palette along with your own foundation, concealer and eyebrows. The palette costs £37, and is incredibly good value, I feel. I got mine from Beauty Bay, but it is available from a lot of other websites too.
The packaging is just gorgeous, rose gold is my absolute favourite. It also has this really cool mirror image, sort of marble effect on the lid which is so nice. You then open it up to find a really big mirror which is so handy for doing your make-up while you're on the go or for taking it away on holiday. It's unusual to find a mirror this big in a palette. You then get a miniature version of the Perversion mascara and a miniature of their 24/7 glide-on eye pencil in the shade 'Stag'. There is a full size Naked Lipgloss in the shade 'Sesso' which costs £14 to buy individually. There are six eyeshadows in the palette in the shades Dive, Fix, Resist, Dare, Stun and 5050, and then a bronzer and blush shade. All in all, this is just a gorgeous palette and I know that I am going to be getting plenty of wear out of it in the future!
