Hello everyone!
Today, I'm back with another Christmas recipe, the third out of four! So keep an eye out for the final one coming next week! Now, I don't know anyone who doesn't like nutella so I have decided to attempt to make a nutella hot chocolate because everyone likes to relax with a mug of warm hot chocolate at this time of year. So, if you would like to know how to create your very own nutella hot chocolate then keep on scrolling and reading! It's so simple and quick.
Ingredients: A jar of nutella
Milk (of your choice)
Any extras you want such as squirty cream, marshmallows..
It's as simple as that!
Method:
1. Using your desired mug, measure out the amount of milk you will need. So, fill your mug with milk and pour that into your pan.
2. Place your pan of milk on a low heat and stir continually with a wooden spoon.
3. Once your milk has warmed slightly, add in your nutella straight from the jar. As this was the first time I had done this, I wasn't sure how much nutella to add or if it would even work for that matter! So, I added a big heaped teaspoon per mug of milk.
4. Keep stirring the nutella and milk continually and the nutella will start to melt. Keep stirring until all the big lumps of nutella are gone. The nutella won't melt completely, but will leave a thin, extra chocolately layer on the top!
5. Take off the heat and pour into your mugs. Now's the time to add all the yummy extras like marshmallows and cream!
Have you tried any alternative hot chocolate recipes?
♥
