Christmas Recipes: Candy Cane Chocolate Lollies │ lipsticksandlevis

Hello everyone!

So, here's the last post in my mini Christmas Recipes series. I found this recipe a while ago and was planning on doing it with my leftover candy canes.

Ingredients: Candy Canes - two per lolly
                      White Chocolate
                      Cake decorations - sprinkles etc.
                      Lolly Sticks

Method:
1, Put greaseproof paper onto a baking tray. Then place the candy canes onto the grease proof paper into heart shapes, or any shape you want. I actually broke two of the candy canes as I was taking them out of the packaging so made one oval shaped lolly and then another with a mish mash of candy cane and chocolate. Place your lolly sticks in between the candy canes.

2. Using a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water, melt the white chocolate. I used a 125g bar. Keep stirring the chocolate while it melts, until it is fully melted and smooth.

3. Spoon the melted chocolate in between the candy canes, being careful to keep the chocolate inside the shape. While the chocolate is still melted add you're desired decorations, I used silver balls.

4. Put the tray into the freezer, and keep checking back until the chocolate is fully set. You can then take the lollies out of the freezer and remove them from the tray ready to be eaten! Another super simple recipe, that takes no time at all!

Do you know any other ways of using candy canes in making Christmas treats?
