Hello everyone!
I'm warning you now, this post is going to be a long'un and very picture heavy, so get yourself comfy, get a cup of tea and be prepared! This wasn't the first time that I had been to the Clothes Show Live, I've been twice before whilst I was at school studying Textiles for both GCSE and A-Level. However, we didn't get much time there and didn't get too much chance to have a decent look around because we had to stay in quite large groups. This time, however, I went with my Mum, Auntie and cousin and got to spend more time there. I think it was a much better experience this time because of the fact that we had a bit more time and could spend more time exploring all the different sections and different stands at the event, because there are so many it's unreal! When we first walked in, we didn't know where to look first. It was a bit overwhelming.
This year, I thought that the Fashion Theatre was better than I remembered it to be when I'd previously seen it. Everything about it was just amazing, and the male models were obviously an added bonus. The music and dance performances between the fashion collections were brilliant as always and just puts you in a real feel good mood I think! Rick Edwards and Jim Chapman presented the Fashion Theatre and Stereokicks, from the X Factor here in the UK, were the live music act. I'm going to give you some shots of the Fashion Theater Performance to give you an idea of what it's like if you've never been. There aren't too many because the lighting meant that my camera found it difficult to focus so a lot of the pictures I got were blurry (sad face!).

Now onto the shopping, my favourite part! There were a few stands, like Models Own, Rimmel and Barry M, that I had already intended on visiting before I got to the Clothes Show but the others were just as I walked round and saw something that caught my eye I went to have a look and ended up buying something. I'll start with the beauty bits first, which is basically everything!
The first beauty stand that I was drawn to was Barry M. I decided to go for the goody bag that they were doing because it just seemed like such good value. The goody bag cost just £10 and came in this little pink leather style make-up bag which was then inside the colourful paper bag. The contents of the bag comes to just over £40, which I think is amazing! In the bag, I got six nail varnishes, an eyeshadow trio, two dazzle dusts, two eye crayons and a lip gloss. The only things from this goody bag that will not get used by me are the eye crayons as one is green and the other is pink. I'm not a huge fan of colour on my eyes. However, I am sure that the rest of the contents will come to good use at some point in the near future. All the shade names and numbers are below the picture!

Next, was Models Own. I am a huge fan of Models Own nail varnishes so I couldn't resist their stand. The display of nail varnishes was amazing, there were so many different shades and nail effects. They were doing a deal where you choose three nail varnishes and get them for £10, rather than the £5 each that they usually are, and you got a goody bag for free. So, I got the three nail varnishes that I chose, and then a lipgloss, a nail art pen, an eyeliner, an eye crayon, a lip balm, an eyeshadow duo, a nail buffer, make-up sponges, a compact mirror, some sponge eyeshadow applicators and some eyelash curlers and a Closer magazine, which kept me occupied on the long journey home form Birmingham. All shade names and numbers are below the picture!

Next was the Rimmel Stand, and one of my favourites! Rimmel is one of my favourite make-up brands so I was excited to see that they were doing goody bags. They had a choice of three, and they were £10 each. The three goody bags were based on celebrities who had been the face of the brand at some point so there was a Kate Moss collection, a Rita Ora collection and a Georgia May Jagger collection. The one I would of chosen if they had had any left would of course be the Kate Moss collection because I just love the Kate Moss lipsticks for Rimmel and that contained one of them. They had completely sold out of the Kate Moss collection, so I went for the Rita Ora one. In it I got two nail polishes, a mascara, a BB cream sample, a primer, an eyeliner and a lip crayon, with a total value of around £30 and everything in this goody bag will get a good amount of use too, which is impressive considering you don't know what you're buying.

Next was Lee Stafford. I gravitated towards the stand as soon as I saw it because I'm a huge fan of Lee Stafford products, especially the scent. They all smell gorgeous. They were doing single products for just £1 each, but they had run out of all the single products by the time we got round to the stand. They were also doing goody bags that cost £10 and £15. We asked to see the goody bags and the £15 bag had tonnes more stuff in it than the £10 one so I just decided to go for it because I love the Lee Stafford products so much. In the bag I got loads of various haircare products from hairsprays and shampoos to mousses and colour sprays for your hair. I wont use the colour sprays or the glitter tattoo kits but everything else I think I will get good use of. The bag, in total, came to over £90 which is amazing! All products names will be in the caption below the picture.

This next purchase, was totally enabled by my cousin. If it wasn't for her I would of never bought it! So, me and my cousin broke off from our Mum's because we weren't into the stands that they were looking at and my cousin is a big fan of Candy Kittens, the brand by Jamie Laing from Made In Chelsea, so we went off to find that stand. As we were looking at the racks of clothes, I spotted this jumper and fell in love with it immediately, but it cost £30 which made me unsure of whether to buy it. Then there was a separate table with lots of bags with the candy kittens logo so we asked what was in them. They were also doing a goody bag, for £30, which included a Candy Kittens t-shirt, an iPhone 5 case, a lip balm and two bags of the Candy Kitten sweets. I didn't think that that was particularly good value considering the t-shirt to buy on its own is only £18. However, the lady we were speaking to said that we could swap out the t-shirt for a sweatshirt or sweatpants and the goody bag would then cost £40 instead. We were then told that by spending £40 we would get £5 off, so the goody bag with a sweatshirt or sweatpants would cost £35 instead. I instantly went for this and swapped the original t-shirt for the jumper that I had previously seen. When I got home I went on the Candy Kittens website and the jumper that I had chosen is £40 to buy normally, so I was very happy with that!

Lastly, is something non beauty related. Candles. I love candles, and always have a back-up stash ready for when I use one up. Flamingo Candles isn't really a brand that I have heard of much. I had recently seen a few of their candles on the Asos website, but never really taken much notice. Me and my mum went straight over to the stand when we saw it, it was the first stand we went to. They had some really uniquely scented candles and we spent quite a while testing out the scents to find our favourites. They had two deals, and I went for the 2 for £15. I got two of their jar candles for £15 instead of the £12 each that they usually cost. After much deliberation, I chose the Chocolate Orange candle and Lemon & Lime Mojito. They smell absolutely gorgeous!
