Hello everyone, Sorry I've been a bit slack on the blog posts I've been really busy and just haven't had any time to blog! I wish I didn't have to work so I could just blog blog blog, but I need to work or I would be poor and then not be able to buy any beauty bits which I definitely cannot sacrifice! So, on with the favourites!
This has to be the first favourite that I talk about because I a actually in love with this product, and I have noticed such a difference after using this for a month! It's the L'oreal Paris Skin Perfection Day Moisturiser │ Here. I have used this for a month and am already noticing a difference in the overall appearance of my skin. The redness on my cheeks has significantly reduced and the overall texture of my skin has improved immensley! I have nothing but good things to say about this moisturiser and I could go on forever, but I won't. What I will say is that I will be very sad when I come to the end of this little jar and I will be rushing to Boots to repurchase it straight away!
Soap and Glory Butter Yourself Body Butter │ Here
This has become an essential for me in my night time routine over the last few months because in the UK it has been super cold which means we get those scaly lizard legs (not the most attractive image). However, this has helped me combat 'old Liz' and leave my skin feeling super silky and soft. With shea butter being one of the main ingredients, there's no wonder why! The shea butter in it is just so moisturising and it feels so luxurious on the skin, absolutely gorgeous! It also smells amazing with ingredients such as green fig and orange oil. After applying this at night, I can often still smell the scent on my skin when I wake up in the morning, just too lovely! I would highly recommend any of the Soap & Glory body butters and creams, and they last for ages as a little goes a long way! So for around the £10 price mark I would definitely recommend these little tubs of amazingness!
With this cold weather, other parts of my body also suffer, which is why I have been loving these next two products. The Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm │ Here and the Body Shop Cranberry Joy Hand Cream. There isn't really much that I can say about this Carmex lipbalm, apart from the fact that it definitely does the job. It moisturises my lips really well, and you don't need to apply much to really feel like its working. As soon as you apply it, you can feel it tingling and that makes me feel like it's getting down to work right away, which I love even more! As for the hand cream from The Body Shop, I have trouble finding hand creams that I don't mind using because I don't like to sit and wait for a hand cream to absorb,I like it to get the job done quickly so that I can get on with whatever I need to be doing. This one however, does its job right away and absorbs quickly! It's quite a thick and buttery hand cream, which I like because in winter it feels a lot more rich and moisturising. It also smells amazing, which is always a bonus!
I've been trying to give my hair a bit of TLC lately, because again this cold weather is not my best friend in any shape or form. So I have been using these three products every time that I wash my hair to try and help it cope with this torturous weather. The first of which is the Lee Stafford Climate Control Serum. I have owned this product for quite some time but have never really though to use is and it's just been forgotten about at the bottom of my haircare stash. So when I was looking for things as it came to winter to rescue my hair, I came across this. I don't like to apply heat to my hair, and always let my hair air dry. This however, has its disadvantages it means that my hair goes slightly fly away and frizzy in the top third from the roots. This however, helps combat those flyaways. I apply two small pumps throughout all of my hair whilst damp. I mainly focus it near the roots and in the top parts of my hair, and I love the results when using this! These next two products, I use in the same way and for the same reasons, to condition and nourish the ends of my hair and prevent split ends. These are the Lush Shine So Bright Hair Balm │ Here and the Avon Planet Spa Mediterranean Hot Oil Hair Treatment. Again, I use both of these products in damp hair. The hair balm from lush I just rub my finger in the little pot to pick up some of the product, as it is a waxy texture and needs to be warmed up to get some of the product off. Then I rub between my fingers and apply to the very ends of my hair. Each time I use this product, I notice a significant difference in the smoothness of the ends of my hair, I haven't been using this very long but I love it already! With the hair oil, I use it twice a week to give the ends of my hair a real nourishing treatment as I have ombre hair so it is damaged and I do anything I can to help keep my hair healthy. I apply one drop of the oil throughout the ends of my hair and it just leaves my hair feeling super soft and nourished.
Finally, I have a make-up item. I haven't really worn that much make-up throughout the month but when I have, I've found myself reach for this product every time, the Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick in Shade. 16 │ Here. This is such a gorgeous natural pink shade, perfect for everyday wear which I why I used it so much! It's such a simple lipstick that can be worn with any make-up look and I think is essential for any beauty lovers collection!
I hope that some of you have found this helpful and may be thinking of going and picking up some of these products for yourself!
Thanks for reading!
