Homeware Haul │ lipsticksandlevis

Hello everyone!

You may only find this post interesting, if you are planning on moving out, need some inspiration for your home or if, like me you just love anything to do with homeware! So, a few months ago, I decided that it might be a good idea for me to start saving for when I move out and as that is looking likely to happen a lot sooner than I first thought I have been collecting various bits and pieces from different places. I decided to do this so that I am a little bit more prepared and am not just moving into a completely empty house or flat with absolutely nothing there and having to go out and buy everything all at once! So todays post is just going to be me, showing you a few of the bits and peices that I have collected over the last few months.

5 Things: top five drugstore lipsticks │lipsticksandlevis

Hello everyone!

So, this is the start of a new mini series that I am going to be doing here on my blog. '5 Things'. One post a week, with a series of 5 things, these could be my top five drugstore lipsticks like you're seeing today, or my five things I have bought that week. Varying posts to keep you all on your toes!
So, on with the post..

In my opinion, drugstore lipsticks are some of the best out there. Don't get me wrong, I love to have a little splurge on a luxury lacquer for my lips but there are some amazing lipsticks on the high street that are just as good as those higher end brands. Rimmel lipsticks are some of my favourites and the Kate Moss ranges are my absolute favourites! The lipstick on the very left, Rimmel Kate Moss in the shade 16, is one of my favourite shades for the summer months, the perfect pink for my skintone. The other Rimmel lipstick, on the end, in the shade 107 is my ultimate favourite shade for winter. A deep wine red is a must for me in winter! The formula of the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks is amazing, long lasting and so creamy and smooth. Another staple in my winter lipstick collection is the middle lipstick. 17 Supreme Shine Lipstick in the shade Barely Blush. It is the perfect deep pink nude colour which I love to wear in winter when I'm not feeling quite daring enough for a berry red. This is my 'Your lips but better shade'. Another amazing formula, again very creamy. Topshop lipstick in Infrared was the first make-up item I tried from Topshop and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Again, another creamy formula and so pigmented! I love this for when I want a really stand out lip in spring and summer. Absolutely Perfect! Finally the Bourjois Colour Boost Glossy Finish Lipstick in the shade Orange Punch. Another staple for me in summer, as they go on quite sheer, so are quick and easy to apply when you're on the go and look amazing!

Return to blogging.. │lipsticksandlevis

Logging onto my laptop, and typing the word 'blogger' into my internet search bar feels very alien, as does sitting here typing this. I haven't written a blog post in what seems like forever. I don't really have a reason why, just that I have let everything get ontop of me recently, mainly anxiety and panic attacks. I now feel a lot better and have found a way of dealing with my anxiety and panic attacks, which makes me feel like I can finally relax and enjoy things a little more. That is why I am back here, writing to myself, using my blog as a way of expressing my feelings about beauty, fashion and just my life in general. I sometimes feel very alone as a result of my anxiety and this is a way for me to express myself without having to really express myself and if I meet new people with similar interests as me along the way, then that's even better!

There is going to be a lot more posts appearing on this little peice of the internet, and a lot more frequently too. Part of me being able to relax a little more is me being a lot more organised. This blog is one of the things I needed to organise, regular posts and more consistent ones too. I have so many ideas and things I would like to write whizzing around in my head but I've just felt so closed in by everything recently that I haven't. So, now is the time to start again..

I also have a new addition who can't wait to meet you all.. Keep an eye out for him appearing on here very soon!

Writing this, it feels so good to be able to let things out without feeling like I am a nuisance!
So, many more blog posts to come!
