some more new purchases.. oops

Hi! So as I got paid and I have been watching lots of beauty bloggers on youtube and reading lots of other beauty blogs I decided to have a little look on the internet at some of the products that they had recommended! I found lots that I would like but I didnt want to spend all of my wages and have none left until 3 weeks time so I only bought two of the products.. However, I am pleased that I did as I know that I will get a lot, a lot of use from them! So, the first thing is this..

Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray

This is something that I will definitely use a lot as I naturally have quite wavy, 'beachy' hair, which I love! However, throughout the day, baring the elements, my hair tends to go a little bit sort of frizzy and lose a bit of it's waviness, so this spray will be very useful for 're-waving' and texturising my hair throughout the day! This being the case, I went straight for a the larger 200ml spray rather than trying out the smaller travel sized bottle first! I bought this on ebay for around £8, but that was purely because I can't drive yet and I could not get to any shops.. plus I live in a small village so there aren't many decent shops nearby! So, once I have got a lot of use out of this, I will write a small review about it here on my bog to hopefully help you out in deciding whether you would like to invest in it!

Another thing that I have seen various beauty bloggers rave about it the Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub. So i went onto the Soap & Glory Website - HERE - to have a little nosey for myself. Soap & Glory have such a massive variety of products on their website, from anti-ageing products to body scrubs to make-up! (which I have ordered one of the Soap & Glory Comcealers today - oops) The products are not available to order from the Soap & Glory Website, but are available from Boots and Harvey Nichols. I ordered mine from the Boots website, where they had an offer on Soap & Glory products. This offer was to spend £10 on selected Soap & Glory products to get a free 'Butter Yourself' Body Butter worth £10.50. So I just had to go for it and find another product to buy! Anyway, here they are..

This is the Sugar Crush Body Scrub - with smashed brown sugar & sweet lime, almond oil and macadamia grains. This scrub smells amazing and I can't wait to use it so that I can smell as amazing as this, haha! The packaging of all Soap & Glory products is just so pretty which makes me want to buy them even more! The container says to use in the shower once, twice or three times weekly depending on your level of scaliness. However, I think that I would use this every time that I showered or bathed as when I start a product, I like to use it consistently until it is finished so that I can really know if it has a good effect for me or not. So, yeh, I can't wait to start using this and let you know what I thought of it! This costs £8.00, which I think is a reasonable price because it is a pretty hefty tub and should last a while.

This is the other product I bought to make it up to £10 so I got my free Body Butter. You may think this is a bit of a strange one to purchase but I have my reasons! I work in the shop that is just near where I live.. which means that the whole of my shifts at work are spent handling money. This makes me rather paranoid as you have no idea where that money has been or where the people giving you the money have been for that matter! So I spend half my time at work washing my hands and panicking about what I have been touching. This is why this is so useful and it is antibacterial which kind of puts my mind at rest so once I finish work or when I have a break and have washed my hands I use this just to put myself at ease, haha! It is fresh, fruity and floral scented which is also a bonus and has natural grapefruit extract. This costs £2.50, which in my mind, with where I work, is well worth it!

This was the product that I got free for buying the other two Soap & Glory Products. It is 'Butter Yourself' Super Rich Smoothing Body Cream, with exfoliating AHAs, orange waterjuice, shea butter, peppermint oil & fruitliquid fig. Even with the random mixture of ingredients and scents going it smells surprising nice and really refreshing! You just simply rub it in all over yourself after having a bath or shower for lovely soft skin! Considering this is free when spending just £10 on Soap & Glory, it is also a pretty hefty tub, the same size as the sugar crush body scrub! I also can't wait to get a lot of use out of this! This was, of course, free, but the actual worth of this body cream is £10.50.

So if your reading this, get yourself down to Boots or onto their website in the link somewhere near the top to get some Soap & Glory stuff! It is well worth it considering I spent just £10.50 and got £21.00 worth of products! Top tip!

Thanksss, Bye for now!

my recent purchases..

Hi! So, I've bought a few little beauty bits and pieces lately, and I decided to keep them together until I'd got a few to write about in a blog post! So, here we are! I have bought all of these things in the last two weeks..

The first two things, I bought separately but they go together..
The first is a tanning mitt, this may sound weird but I have heard that they are very good as you don't get orange hands once you have used fake tan and they apparently don't leave streaks all over your skin! I have never used fake tan before so I though it would be a good idea to buy a tanning mitt to make it easier for myself when I do use fake tan for the first time! This one was only something like £1.50 from eBay.

The next thing I bought was a St Tropez Everyday Gradual Tan Mousse. I wanted to buy a fake tan because I am so pale, and especially living in the UK there doesnt tend to be much sun especially at the minute. It supposed to be spring but it has been so cold and has been snowing! So, I bought a fake tan to brighten myself up a bit because I always feel so much better with a tan! I had seen on a few of the blogs that I read that this fake tan is really good so I thought that I would give it a go! It is quite expensive however, around £30. So, I went on ebay (which can be very useful sometimes) and I found it on ebay for just £18 so I bought it straight away!

The next thing that I bought was a Tangle Teezer. I have heard and read lots of people raving about them in the YouTube videos I watch and blogs that I read. I also read in a magazine that Cara Delevingne swears by them. So with all these outstanding reviews about them it meant that I just had to get one! My hair gets very knotty, very easily so that another reason why I bought it. I bought the Original in Bubblegum Pink which costs £10.20.

The next thing that I bought was a Barry M Wink marker pen for eyes in Black. I have wanted one of these for quite a while but I am just not very good at applying these sorts of eyeliner pens. I thought that I would buy it anyway to have a go and improve at it. I have also read in lots of blogs that these Wink eyeliner pens are very good, so why not try it for myself!

The final thing that I bought was a MAC Lipstick. I have wanted a MAC Lipstick for a while and this payday I had done some extra hours so I thought that I would treat myself as MAC Lipsticks are rather expensive for what they are. The one that I bought is a Creme Sheen formula, which many people say is their favourite as it is really creamy. I bought it in Coral Bliss A92. It is a gorgeous orangey coral colour and I love it and I can't wait to use it for the first time!

Obviously, once I have used these products for a little while I will write individual and detailed reviews of each of the products to let you all know pros and cons of each product etc.

Do you own any of these products? What do you think of them?

Freshly painted nails

Hi! So this post is basically because I have a new nail varnish and I love it so much, haha! I posted about it before, when i first got it, but this is the first time I have used it and its so pretty! I love bright nail varnishes, because they're very summery, and this is exactly one of those! Its is by Avon and is a Speed Dry + Nail Enamel in 'reddy to go'. It is true to its word and dries very quickly so you dont end up smudging it accidentally after you've painted your nails because it just dries so quickly! The colour is so bold, that there is only the need for one coat of the nail varnish to give even coverage and a very bold colour! I would highly recommend all nail varnishes from Avon, theyre are all amazing quality!

The base coat and top coat that I use are also from Avon and they help protect your nails from damage when painted a lot and help the nail varnish to last longer in perfect condition! They are well worth investing in, especially if you paint your nails a lot!

What is your favourite colour nail varnish? Do you use nail varnish a lot?

busy weekend

Hello! I know, I've not blogged for a few days but I have been busy and not had time so her I'm going to blog about the weekend! So on friday, firstly I redyed my hair with a home hair dye kit as it had faded so much! I used a John Freida foam hair dye kit in Medium Ash Brown.

The instructions are so easy to follow, for either full coverage or just root touch-up. The hair dye itself is so easy to use as it is a foam, so you just massage into the roots of your hair first and then once all of your roots are covered, you cover he rest of your hair with it. You then rub it in a bit for that it lathers and foams up and leave it to work its magic! It's so easy and so easy to use, so you don't miss any patches of your hair even doing it by yourself!

This was the end result of my home dye kit! I've been dying my own hair for almost 4 years so I'm kind of used to it! What do you think? Do you use home hair dye kits?

Then, on friday night, one of my old school friends came round to my house. We had a chinese take away for our tea and we had a really good catch up, as we haven't seen each other for almost a year! Although we text each other almost everyday, we still had so much to talk about and I loved it! I had missed her so much and I can't wait to see her again! We live quite far away from each other and as I still can't drive, I am not able to get to her, that is why we don't see each other often, but I hope we can sort it out now so we do see each other often!

On Saturday night, my boyfriend stayed round as he has not stayed over for the night in what seems like forever! I love having him stay over, because he gets on so well with my family and we have a really good time! One thing I don't like about him staying over is that he takes up so much room in my bed and pushes me out during the night! haha, but I always forgive him! haha.

On Sunday, Mother's Day, we had some of our family round to our house for a big roast dinner! (my favourite meal!) and we had fun although it was tough fr my Auntie as my cousin passed away just three months ago, but we stay strong, and support eachother through it. I miss my cousin so much! I then had to go to work from 4pm until 9pm, (always the worst shift as the shop isn't very busy and time goes slow) and I then came home and went to bed almost straight away as I was very tired!

Bye for now!

Blogging from my iPhone..

Hey! So I've not blogged in a few days as i've been at work and been busy doing other things while i've not been at work, sorry! I'm also blogging from my phone right now which is nice because it's so easy and simple, whereas I sometimes get confused by the internet version of Blogger, haha, i've stilled not worked out how to use / do everything properly! So anyway, in the last couple of days, my boyfriend and I have been having petty little arguments for no reason.. so to say sorry, he bought me flowers which was lovely! Bless him! and tomorrow night one of my old friends from school is coming to my house and we are going to have Chinese! I'm so excited because I haven't seen her in like forever!, almost a year, which makes me sad. So I will blog a nit about that maybe tomorrow night.. Bye for now!

I'm bored..

Hello! Well, my Dad has taken my Mum to see Olly Murs in Sheffield tonight, and my younger brother has been out with his friends since around 1 o'clock.. so, since 3 o'clock I have been home alone and I have been so bored so I have decided to do another blog post.. This is where I have been sat for the last two hours, watching television.. THAT'S HOW BORED I AM.

Anyway, here is my outfit from today (it's the only thing I can think to post haha)

It's not the best picture of me.. but this post is about my outfit anyway! haha. I love this jumper because it's different, and it stands out and it's amazingly comfy! It was from New Look and was £24.99. It is long sleeved, but I like to fold the sleeves up a bit. On the bottom I am wearing just a plain black pair of leggings, because they're so comfy for just lounging around!

A closer picture of the jumper, and it's pattern

Since I bought my watch, I wear it almost everyday with just a few other small, simple bracelets. I think they're cute. I love my watch. It's a casio.

What do you think of my outfit?

Friday's Day Out

Hey! Yesterday, me and my Mum took my Nan out for the day, which we've been doing a lot more often lately, and I love our days out as I'm very close to my Mum now and I have always been close with my Nan :) Anyway, we took my Nan to a local Garden Centre as she wanted to buy some bits and pieces for making her hand-made cards, they're so pretty! So we went for lunch first, I had haddock in beer batter and chips, it was so good! Delicious! We then went to the 'Craft' Shop for my Nan and then we had a look around the rest of the garden centre. They have some really cute little decorative bits for the house, so I just had to get some for my bedroom! I love little 'shabby chic' decorations! So these are the things that I bought..

I thought all three of these things were so pretty, and they match with my bedroom so well! So first, there's the white-washed heart shaped wooden bowl. This was £7.99, which isn't too bad considering all the other ones I've seen have been loads more expensive! Once my artificial rose petals arrive in the post, that's what will go into the heart shaped bowl. They'll look so pretty! Then there's the heart shaped tealight holder. I love the colour of it, and the fact that the paint is chipping away. It makes it look shabby and vintage, and I like that. That was £4.35, I just couldnt resist it, haha. Then I bought these Yankee Candle Tea Lights, scented with Cherry Blossom. They are fairly expensive however, at £6.75 for just 12 small tea lights. I suppose the smell makes up for it though, as they smell amazing! There will be another blog post later on, as I haven't blogged in a couple of days..

What do you think to the decorations?
